Stay Away from Indoctrination and Dogma

Vatican/Palestinian Statehood bid fails at UN Security Council

The United Nations Security Council.(AFP Photo / Kena Betancur)

The UN Security Council has failed to adopt the Arab coalition’s bid calling for the creation of a Palestinian state and an end to Israelioccupation.”

The veto power US and Australia voted against the move with 5 abstentions.

The draft resolution gathered only 8 votes in favor, so it was automatically defeated. The US however still used its veto power and voted against the resolution. Another veto power state, the UK, along with Lithuania, Nigeria, Korea and Rwanda have abstained from the vote.

Highly opposed by the US and Israel, the first version of the draft resolution was submitted “in blue” to the UN Security Council last Wednesday. The Council includes five permanent members (America, United Kingdom, China, France and Russia) who hold veto power and ten additional members who serve two-year terms. The resolution gives 12 months for a “just, lasting and comprehensive peaceful solution” to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which it regards as the creation of a “sovereign and viable” Palestinian state based on 1967 borders, as well as the withdrawal of all Israeli forces from the occupied territory by 2017.

Last Thursday, Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman called a UN bid for Palestinian statehood an “act of aggression.” “Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is adopting measures whose sole aim is to attack Israel, with no benefit for the Palestinians,” Lieberman said in a statement.

1 Thessalonians 5:3-4 (NLT)
3 When people are saying, “Everything is peaceful and secure,” then disaster will fall on them as suddenly as a pregnant woman’s labor pains begin. And there will be no escape.

4 But you aren’t in the dark about these things, dear brothers and sisters, and you won’t be surprised when the day of the Lord comes like a thief.

Matthew 24:7-8 (NLT)
7 Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. 8 But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.

The Arab Coalition's bid for a dual State in Jerusalem had already seen several amendments that concern East Jerusalem as capital of the future state of Palestine, Israeli settlement building, and Palestinian refugees’ right of return, Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee member Abu Yousef told Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper.

According to the current draft, Jerusalem is regarded as the capital of both Israel and Palestine, but the role of East Jerusalem in a future Palestinian state is not specified. “International legitimacy is our ceiling on this issue, and we cannot drop below this ceiling,” Yousef told the paper.

Pope Francis urged "the acknowledgment by all of the right of two states to exist and to live in peace and security within internationally recognized borders." As regards the Israeli-Palestinian question, the Holy See reiterates its support for a two-State solution. Israel and Palestine, with the vigorous support of the competent organs of the United Nations and of the whole international community, must work toward the final objective, which is the realization of the right of the Palestinians to have their own State, sovereign and independent, and of the right of the Israelis to peace and security. Pope Francis also reaffirmed this during his visit to the Middle East last May: “The time has come for everyone to find […] the courage to forge a peace which rests on the acknowledgment by all of the right of two States to exist and to live in peace and security within internationally recognized borders.”[1] However, Corpus Separatum (Latin for "separated body") is a term used to describe the Jerusalem area in the 1947 United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine (State of Israel). According to the plan the city would be placed under an International Regime [sic] † (Not belonging to Israel or Arab Palestinians), conferring it a "Special Status" due to its shared religious importance.

Though the Vatican supported the 1947 UN General Assembly Resolution 181, which partitioned Palestine, it failed to recognize the State of Israel's legitimacy for another forty-five years. The relationship between Catholics and Jews is marred by centuries of troubles, including doctrinal polemics, Crusade-era massacres, and forced exiles of Jews.

The Vatican moved to improve relations with Jews in 1965, although it did not formally recognize Israel until 1993.

The corpus separatum was one of the main issues of the Lausanne Conference of 1949, besides the other borders between Israel and Palestine and the question of the right of return of the Palestinian refugees. The plan was adopted by the General Assembly with a two-thirds majority, although its implementation failed and the view that Jerusalem should be the capital of both Israel and Palestine internationally is widely supported now.[2][3]

But regardless of what the UN and international powers have to say, God's Word as outlined in the Holy Bible is clear on Jerusalem, and says;

Zechariah 12:1-9 (NLT)

Future Deliverance for Jerusalem
12 This[a] message concerning the fate of Israel came from the Lord: “This message is from the Lord, who stretched out the heavens, laid the foundations of the earth, and formed the human spirit. 2 I will make Jerusalem like an intoxicating drink that makes the nearby nations stagger when they send their armies to besiege Jerusalem and Judah. 3 On that day I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock. All the nations will gather against it to try to move it, but they will only hurt themselves.

4 “On that day,” says the Lord, “I will cause every horse to panic and every rider to lose his nerve. I will watch over the people of Judah, but I will blind all the horses of their enemies. 5 And the clans of Judah will say to themselves, ‘The people of Jerusalem have found strength in the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, their God.’

6 “On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a flame that sets a woodpile ablaze or like a burning torch among sheaves of grain. They will burn up all the neighboring nations right and left, while the people living in Jerusalem remain secure.

7 “The Lord will give victory to the rest of Judah first, before Jerusalem, so that the people of Jerusalem and the royal line of David will not have greater honor than the rest of Judah. 8 On that day the Lord will defend the people of Jerusalem; the weakest among them will be as mighty as King David! And the royal descendants will be like God, like the angel of the Lord who goes before them! 9 For on that day I will begin to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

12:1 Hebrew An Oracle: This.

The Holy See expressed support for the status of Corpus Separatum. Pope Pius XII was among the first to make such a proposal in the 1949 encyclical Redemptoris Nostri Cruciatus. This idea was later re-proposed during the papacies of John XXIII, Paul VI and John Paul II. Now the Vatican is saying that they support a dual State, but still want a protection for Jerusalem—it makes no sense except for the fact that the Vatican always plays both sides!

† The Second Vatican Council's Decree on Ecumenism (Unitatis Redintegratio), fooled Anglicans and Protestants into believing that the Church of Rome no longer viewed them as heretics. It was promulgated by Pope Paul VI on 21 November 1964. The Degree on Ecumenism calls for the reunion of Christendom ("Age of Constantine")—of all "Christians" world-wide to return to the fold under the unity of the "Vicar of Christ" (Pope). †

The Vatican wants to control the entire world—Jerusalem, Turkey, Greece, Rhodes, Malta, United Kingdom, France, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Portugal, South America, Africa, etc., and provinces overseas, like the U.S.

I. The pre-State era

In 1897, when the Zionist idea was beginning to gain currency in Europe, and four months before the First Zionist Congress was held in Basle, the authoritative Jesuit journal, Civiltà Cattolica, let it be known that a Jewish state in the Holy Land with Jerusalem as its capital and with custody of the Holy Places was unthinkable for the Catholic Church.

Seven years later, in 1904, the founder of the Zionist Movement, Theodor Herzl, met with Pope Pius X, in the hope of gaining the Holy See's support for the Zionist enterprise. Pius rebuffed him, declaring that the Church could not recognize the Jewish people and its aspirations in Palestine, since the Jews "have not recognized our Lord." Herzl was moved by political considerations; the Pope’s response derived from Catholic theology.[4]

II. "Fundamental Accord" between the Holy See and the State of Israel

The Agreement seals diplomatic relations between the two states. Such relations had not been established before 1993 because of issues arising from property seizures in East Jerusalem after the Six-Day War. The transfer of the Israeli capital to Jerusalem, in contrast with the Vatican plan for an "international city" under the influence of the Roman Catholic Church, was also a source of friction between the two states.

The Fundamental Agreement between the Holy See and the State of Israel or "Fundamental Accord" is a treaty or concordat between the Holy See and the State of Israel, signed on 30 December 1993. The Agreement deals with the property rights and tax exemptions of the Roman Catholic Church within Israeli territory. As a result of the Agreement, diplomatic relations between the Holy See and Israel were established in 1994. On 10 November 1997, the Vatican and Israel entered into a further agreement, called an "Agreement Between the State of Israel and the Holy See," but neither agreement has been ratified by the Knesset (the legislative branch of the Israeli government).

Church property remains an issue, as the Roman Catholic Church has extensive properties in Israel. When the region was controlled by the Ottoman Empire and, later, by the British Mandatory Administration, those properties enjoyed special legal and tax status. The Vatican's status became unclear with the creation of the State of Israel. The Israeli Knesset has not ratified the Agreement.

III. Consular Corps of the Corpus Separatum for Jerusalem [sic] †

Various countries recognized Israel as a state in the 1940s and 1950s, but they did not recognize Israeli sovereignty over West Jerusalem. There is an international sui generis consular corps in Jerusalem. It is commonly referred to as the "Consular Corps of the Corpus Separatum." †

DON'T BE FOOLED...The UN/Vatican Sponsored Tony Blair Faith Foundation and Faith and Globalization Initiative (launched in 2008 at the Time Warner Building in NYC) rules Jerusalem as a de facto "International City" Not belonging to Israelis or Palestinians. They do not pay taxes and have no official relations with Israeli authorities. In their activities, they respect common protocol rules designed to prevent any appearance of recognition of sovereign claims to the city.[4a]

Daniel 9:27 (NLT)
27 The ruler will make a treaty with the people for a period of one set of seven, but after half this time, he will put an end to the sacrifices and offerings. And as a climax to all his terrible deeds, he will set up a sacrilegious object that causes desecration, until the fate decreed for this defiler is finally poured out on him.”

Daniel 11:32-35 (NLT)
32 He will flatter and win over those who have violated the covenant. But the people who know their God will be strong and will resist him.

IV. This is why we must carefully examine the bilateral relationship between (1); the Vatican and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) since February 15, 2000, and (2); look at the Vatican's relationship with the Islamic Hashemite Dynasty that rules present-day Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Iraq—and (3); we must examine the international peace process, and (4); the attempt to create a dual Palestinian and Jewish State in Jerusalem—violating God's Covenant with the Hebrews and their future generations as outlined in Deuteronomy 29, cf. Galatians 4:21-31.

The United Nations wanted to control Jerusalem after termination of the British Mandate for Palestine. Therefore, the UN General Assembly proposed a Corpus Separatum, as described in Resolution 181. Jerusalem was to be "under a special international regime and shall be administered by the United Nations." The administering body would be the United Nations Trusteeship Council, one of the five UN "Charter" organs.

Today, the Vatican, AND the Quartet on the Middle East, (UK, EU, US, and Russian Federation) control Israel under Special Envoy Tony Blair and his Tony Blair Faith Foundation and United Nations/Vatican sponsored Faith and Globalization Initiative (launched in 2008 at the Time Warner building in NYC, and now headquartered in Jerusalem).

In 1948, the Vatican created the office of Apostolic Delegate to Jerusalem and Palestine, which had jurisdiction in British Mandate Palestine, Transjordan (now Jordan) and Cyprus.

United Nations Resolution 194 established a Conciliation Commission. Its task was, inter alia, to implement the international regime for the Jerusalem area. The United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine (UNCCP) or Palestine Conciliation Commission (PCC) was created by UN-resolution 194 of 11 December 1948, in order to mediate in the Arab–Israeli conflict. The Commission consisted of France, Turkey and the United States. Its official headquarters was set up in Jerusalem on 24 January 1949.

As the UN has never revoked its resolutions 181 and 194it maintains the official position that Jerusalem should be placed under a Special International Regime.[5]

In 2012, the Vatican hailed the United Nations' implicit recognition of a Palestinian State and called for an internationally guaranteed special status for Jerusalem, which irritated Israel. The 193-nation U.N. General Assembly overwhelmingly approved a resolution to upgrade the Palestinian Authority's observer status at the United Nations from "entity" to "non-member state," the same status as the Vatican.[6]

"The Holy See welcomes with favor the decision of the General Assembly by which Palestine has become a Non-member Observer State of the United Nations," a statement said.[6] But it also said it was a "propitious occasion" to recall a "common position" on Jerusalem expressed by the Vatican and the Palestine Liberation Organization, when the two sides signed a basic agreement on their bilateral relations in 2000.[6]

The Vatican has had a bilateral agreement with the Palestine Liberation Organization since February 15, 2000.

In the bilateral agreement signed between the Vatican and the Palestine Liberation Organization, the PLO recognizes the rights of the Catholic Church to exercise her rights to carry out, through the necessary means, her functions and Tradition in Israel and elsewhere, under Article 5. Furthermore, the PLO recognizes the rights of the Catholic Church in economic, legal and fiscal matters in Israel, under Article 6---these rights being exercised in harmony with the rights of the Palestinian authorities in these fields.

Palestinian president signs Rome Statute to join ICC

Palestinian Authority (PA) President and PLO Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has signed the Rome Statute, the founding treaty to join the International Criminal Court (ICC), a day after the UNSC failed to adopt the Arab coalition’s bid for the creation of a Palestinian State.

According to the Wafa news agency, Rudeineh said that “President Mahmoud Abbas instructed Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malaki and Palestine’s ambassadors and representatives in the Organization for Islamic Cooperation and the African Union to appeal to governments who either opposed or abstained in the vote to support an end to occupation.”[6a]

“We are continuing to undertake diplomatic actions in order to bring about a successful resolution in the UN Security Council that would end the occupation and bring about a fair and agreed solution to the refugee issue on the basis of UN Resolution 194 and the Arab peace initiative, the establishment of a sovereign Palestinian state with east Jerusalem as its capital that would live in peace and security alongside Israel and other countries in the region,” read an official statement from Abbas’ office.[6a]

Cheering crowds welcomed Pope Francis as he left the Jordanian military helicopter in Bethlehem on May 25, 2014, by waving Palestinian flags and releasing doves into the air. Then Pope Francis prayed at the "Separation Wall." The political gestures were laden with symbolism, as Pope Francis power-steered world Roman Catholics and Eastern Orthodox Catholics † to support the Palestinians and Arab Coalition. "I wish to state my heartfelt conviction that the time has come to put an end to this situation, which has become increasingly unacceptable," Pope Francis said.[6b]

Angela Merkel lays down the law to David Cameron at an EU summit in Brussels

The British government is finally waking up to the fact that the European Union is controlled by the Vatican.

The European Union has at its realm leaders from Germany, Rome, Italy, Poland, Belgian, and Luxembourg that are loyal to the agenda of the New Holy Roman Empire. Luxembourg's culture is a fusion of Romanic and Germanic Europe, integrating customs of each. Accordingly, Luxembourg is a trilingual country: Luxembourgish, French and German are official languages. Although a secular state, Luxembourg is predominantly Roman Catholic.

On 18 October 2012, Luxembourg was elected to a temporary seat on the United Nations Security Council for the first time in its history. The country has served on the UN Security Council since 1 January 2013—its term expired on 31 December 2014. Luxembourg is a member of the European Union, NATO, OECD (34 countries founded in 1961 to stimulate economic progress and world trade), and Benelux, reflecting its political consensus in favor of economic, political, and military integration. Benelux comprises three neighboring countries in midwestern Europe: Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. The union's name is formed from joining the first two or three letters of each country's name – Belgium Netherlands Luxembourg – and was first used to name the customs agreement that initiated the union (signed in 1944).

In 1951, these countries joined West Germany, France, and Italy to form the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC), a predecessor of the European Economic Community (EEC) and today's European Union (EU). The ECSC was the first international organization to be based on the principles of supranationalism (having power or influence that transcends national boundaries or governments), and would ultimately lead the way to the founding of the European Union.

Berlin wants the UK to remain in the European Union and will do its utmost to prevent its departure.

The specific point on which Germany could withdraw its support for the UK is migration. Merkel has repeatedly said that Germany will not compromise on the principle of free movement, which it regards as one of the founding precepts of the EU. Similar to how America became saturated with immigrants loyal to the Church of Rome between the late 19th and 20th century, the United Kingdom has been experiencing the same immigration problem. Moreover, Prime Minister David Cameron is threatening to remove the United Kingdom from the European Union, because he feels that that the UK is funding bankrupt EU member countries loyal to the Church of Rome that destroys the Queen's Act of Supremacy as the head of the Church of England and Anglican Communion.

You will never hear in the mainstream media how geopolitics is only the symptom of a larger and more clandestine holy war involving the conquest for the "religious justification" to rule.

Samuel Morse (1791-1872), the co-inventor of Morse Code, wrote under the pen name of "Brutus," and tried to warn America in his report: "Foreign Conspiracy Against the Liberties of the United States" (1841, c1835). CLICK THE LINK HERE TO READ. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), also translated as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), also known by the Arabic acronym Daʿish and self-proclaimed as the Islamic State (IS), is a Sunni, extremist, jihadist self-proclaimed caliphate based in Iraq and Syria in the Middle East.

The UN concluded that in the first eight months of 2014, at least 9,347 civilians had been killed and at least 17,386 wounded. While all these deaths are not attributable to ISIS alone, ISIS is identified as the primary actor.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio (now Pope Francis) was ordained a Catholic priest in 1969 and from 1973 to 1979 was Argentina's Provincial Superior of the Society of Jesus (JESUITS). He not only supported the Argentinian dictatorship, he also played a direct and complicit role in the “Dirty War,” known as the CIA Operation Condor---in liaison with the military Junta headed by General Jorge Videla, leading to the arrest, imprisonment, torture and disappearance of progressive Catholic priests and laymen who were opposed to Argentina’s military rule. Operation Condor was as a campaign of political repression and state terror involving intelligence operations and assassination of opponents, officially implemented in 1975 by the right-wing dictatorships of the Southern Cone of South America. Some estimates are that at least 60,000 deaths can be attributed to Condor, and possibly more. Condor's key members were the governments in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Brazil.

No wonder, Jorge Mario Bergoglio (now Pope Francis), born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, worked briefly as a nightclub bouncer before beginning seminary studies. He became the Archbishop of Buenos Aires in 1998 and was created a cardinal in 2001 by Pope John Paul II.

For all we know, the first beast of Revelation 13 is already present in the body of the UN Security Council.

If Palestinian Authority (PA) and PLO makes a successful application to join the ICC, that could create problems for Israel, because of the way it conducts military operations in the West Bank and Gaza," Iain Scobbie told CNN, after the PA gained observer status (the same as its Vatican partner) at the UN. "If the ICC issues arrest warrants, those Israelis have limited choices of travel because states party to the ICC would be under obligation to arrest them if they landed on their territory."

Iain Scobbie is the Sir Joseph Hotung Research Professor in Law at the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies.

According to U.K. media reports, Britain has told the Palestinians they will support their bid for Statehood, only if they make an understanding not to pursue Israel for war crimes in the ICC and to resume peace talks.

The French, who were once considering two scenarios, backed the statehood bid. "The game is to be in a better position down the road with the Palestinians," said Elliott Abrams, a Middle East expert with the Council of Foreign Relations. "France wants to be able to better influence them."

The USA never officially relinquished its early support of the Corpus Separatum. On 23 October 1995, the Congress passed the advisory Jerusalem Embassy Act saying that "Jerusalem should be recognized as the capital of the State of Israel; and the United States Embassy in Israel should be established in Jerusalem no later than May 31, 1999." Since 1995, the relocation of the embassy from Tel Aviv has been suspended by the President semi-annually, each time stating that "[the] Administration remains committed to beginning the process of moving our embassy to Jerusalem."

Official White House photo by David Lienemann

The White House said it deleted the reference to Israel in a photo caption on its website of Vice President Joe Biden, at left in middle, having breakfast with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair—at the David Citadel Hotel in Jerusalem in March 2010 to reflect a longstanding U.S. policy on the city’s status.[7]

Since the US Congress does not control US foreign policy, despite the Embassy Act, official U.S. documents and web sites do not refer to Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.[7]

Romans 1:16 (NLT)
16 For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.

If you have not formally accepted Jesus Christ, please accept the Gift of Salvation by saying this short prayer: "Dear Jesus, I repent of my sins and the original sin of mankind, please come into my heart and change me to trust in you and build my personal relationship with you by studying your word and applying it to my life to the best of my ability. Thank you for dying on the cross for the remission of sin. Thank you for conquering death with your resurrection. I accept you Jesus as my Lord and Savior, please lead me and guide me. Amen!"

If you have said that short prayer, I welcome you to the True Body of Christ (not a sect, Protestant or Catholic denomination or Eastern religion).

Hebrews 10:24-25 (NLT)
24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.

Please get into a Bible-based church, where the Word of God is taught unadulterated and reject the rituals, religious lies and Tradition(s) and hedonism of men and women.
