Stay Away from Indoctrination and Dogma

"As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming;" (Ephesians 4:14 NASB).

Are You Looking for a Mind, Body and Spirit Experience?

In modern society many people, especially Christians, are looking for out of body experiences and a sense of complete physical and spiritual release.

All over America and the world, Yoga Centers are springing up where people are joining to seek a new sense of strength and mind, body and spiritual experiences. I practiced yoga myself in my twenties under the guise of Relaxation Therapy. At the time, I was not familiar with the Vedas.
The Vedas are the most ancient Hindu scriptures, written in early Sanskrit and containing hymns, philosophy, and guidance on ritual for the priests of Vedic religion. Believed to have been directly revealed to seers among the early Aryans in India, and preserved by oral tradition, the four chief collections are the Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur Veda, and Atharva Veda. The individual verses contained in these compilations are known as mantras.

The concept of Chakra (each of the centers of mystical/spiritual power or life force in the human body) are prevalent in tantric and yogic traditions of Hinduism and Buddhism. David Gordon White traces the modern popularity of the "Hindu" seven chakra system to Arthur Avalon's The Serpent Power, which was Avalon's translation of a late work, the Satcakranirupana.

The problem I find with seeking "The Serpent Power" is that people open themselves up to dark spiritual forces and the mantras are often prayers to strange gods. The Sanskrit word véda, "knowledge or wisdom," is derived from the root vid- "to know." This is reconstructed as being derived from the Proto-Indo-European root *u̯eid-, meaning "see" or "know."

As a noun, the word appears only in a single instance in the Rigveda, in RV 8.19.5, translated by Griffith as "ritual lore":

yáḥ samídhā yá âhutī / yó védena dadâśa márto agnáye / yó námasā svadhvaráḥ TRANSLATED:"The mortal who hath ministered to Agni with oblation (a thing presented or offered to a god), fuel, ritual lore, and reverence, skilled in sacrifice."

About Agni

Agni (Sanskrit: अग्नि) is a Hindu deity, one of the most important of the Vedic gods. He is the god of fire and the solar ram, and the acceptor of sacrifices.

Agni has two heads, one marks immortality and the other marks an unknown symbol. Agni has made the transition into the Hindu pantheon of gods, without losing his importance. With Varuna and Indra he is one of the supreme gods in the Rigveda. The link between heaven and earth, the deities and the humans, he is associated with Vedic sacrifice, taking offerings to the other world in his fire. His vehicle is the solar ram also represented in the ram's head (pentacle or planet Venus) and pentagram.

Vesica Piscis

The vesica piscis is a shape that is the intersection of two circles with the same radius, intersecting in such a way that the center of each circle lies on the perimeter of the other.
The shape is also called mandala, a Sanskrit word meaning "sacred circle."

The example in nature of the vesica piscis is during an eclipse. An eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when one object in the sky moves into the shadow of another. The term is most often used to describe either a solar eclipse, i.e. when the Moon's shadow crosses Earth's surface, or a lunar eclipse, i.e. when the Moon moves into the shadow of Earth.

Venus is classified as a terrestrial planet and is sometimes called Earth's "sister planet" owing to their similar size, gravity, and bulk composition (Venus is both the closest planet to Earth and the planet closest in size to Earth).

Sorcerers, Wiccans, Witches and other practitioner's of black magic evoke "The Fire of Venus" using a pentacle (another term for pentagram and an amulet or magical object, inscribed with a pentagram and typically enclosed in a disk-shaped as a symbol of the element of earth) to harness lust.

Deuteronomy 4:15-19 (NLT)

A Warning against Idolatry

15 “But be very careful! You did not see the Lord’s form on the day he spoke to you from the heart of the fire at Mount Sinai. 16 So do not corrupt yourselves by making an idol in any form—whether of a man or a woman, 17 an animal on the ground, a bird in the sky, 18 a small animal that scurries along the ground, or a fish in the deepest sea. 19 And when you look up into the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars—all the forces of heaven—don’t be seduced into worshiping them. The Lord your God gave them to all the peoples of the earth."
In the Vedic religion, followers believe that three basic components (trigunas, triguṇās) of Sattva (purity and knowledge), Raja (action and passion) and Tama (ignorance and inertia) are the very fabric of creation---and that they permeate through all living and non-living, tangible and intangible things. Followers believe that eclipses and new moon days give people engaged in occult rituals, and predominantly rajasik and tamasik people, black magic for their raja-tama activities to spread ghosts, demons, negative energies, etc.

SEDONA VORTEX YOGA is a practice of harnessing (yoga means to yoke) the power of the vortexes and incorporating that power into one's own vortex (chakra) centers as a path towards moving inwards to their own fullness as creator gods and self-realization. For centuries, alchemists have sought to change base metals into gold. But the transmutation of metals like lead into gold is symbolic of a higher and more Luciferic alchemy---the alchemy of self-transformation---and this is where Sedona Vortex Yoga seduces people's diverse lust just like Freemasonry.

Genesis 3:4-6 (NLT) 4 “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. 5 “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God,
knowing both good and evil.”
6 "The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who
was with her, and he ate it, too."

Sedona Vortex Yoga teaches that heaven reaching for man and man reaching for heaven is expressed in mystical geometry as the pentagram.

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (NLT) 10 "For example, never sacrifice your son or daughter as a burnt offering. And do not let your people practice fortune-telling, or use sorcery, or interpret omens, or engage in witchcraft, 11 or cast spells, or function as mediums or psychics, or call forth the spirits of the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord. It is because the other nations have done these detestable things that the Lord your God will drive them out ahead of you."

Architects and artists copied the solar eclipse/vesica piscis and its mathematics in their sacred buildings and artwork to reflect their esoteric beliefs. This ancient tradition was passed on through the centuries by the Freemasons.

The Knights Templar found these pagan satanic secrets in the ruins of Solomon's Temple amongst the scrolls and artifacts used by Solomon's wives for Baal worship in his various names.

Albert Pike, who searched for the hidden mysteries of science and nature, revised Freemasonry's rituals and degrees drawing on Kabbalah, Geometry and Pythagorean principles (such as the theorem of the right-angled triangle and the occult practice of numerology). The viseca piscis or mandala is a glyph associated with the goddess Venus, and also represents the female genitalia.

The Vulva/Phallic penetrated sculpture in the middle of the spiral stairway inside the New Israeli Supreme Court building depicts the incestuous relationship of Venus and the adolescent Cupid---showing proof of the Rothschilds preoccupation with mythological fertility practices. The family is reported to have intermarried to continue its bloodline.

In Latin, the name viseca piscis literally means the "bladder of a fish" or mandorla. A vesica piscis or mandorla in Latin is depicted as a pointed oval figure used as an architectural feature and as an aureole (a circle of light or brightness) enclosing figures such as the Virgin Mary in medieval art.

More About Mandalas

In Hindu and Buddhist symbolism a mandala represents the universe or "flower of life". In Psychoanalysis a mandala is a symbol in a dream, representing the dreamer's search for completeness and self-unity.

Many of the Illuminations of Hildegard von Bingen can be used as mandalas, as well as many of the images of esoteric Christianity.

In my December 2012 post titled, "There is a Solution to Avoid the Wickedness of this World," I noted that: "Esoteric Christianity" can easily cross the line into Gnosticism, adulterated Christianity, Jesuit syncretic "spiritual exercises," Freemasonry, occultism and other New Age practices."

Forms which are evocative of mandalas are prevalent in Catholicism and Rosicrucianism: the celtic cross; the rosary; the halo; the aureole; oculi; the Crown of Thorns; rose windows; the Rosy Cross; and the dromenon on the floor of Chartres Cathedral. The dromenon represents a journey from the outer world to the inner self---where one becomes their own god or thinks they find the Divine.

"Dromenon" translates as an anagram to: "Or n' demon"

CAPTION: The mandala (round window, rose window or Catherine window) at the site of the Marsh Chapel Experiment supervised by Timothy Francis Leary
Timothy Francis Leary (October 22, 1920 – May 31, 1996) was an American psychologist and writer, known for his advocacy of psychedelic drugs. During a time when drugs such as LSD and psilocybin were legal, Leary conducted experiments at Harvard University under the Harvard Psilocybin Project, resulting in the Concord Prison Experiment and the Marsh Chapel Experiment. Both studies produced useful data, but Leary and his associate Richard Alpert were fired from the university nonetheless.

Leary believed LSD showed therapeutic potential for use in psychiatry. He popularized catchphrases that promoted his philosophy such as "turn on, tune in, drop out"; "set and setting"; and "think for yourself and question authority". He also wrote and spoke frequently about transhumanist concepts involving space migration, intelligence increase and life extension (SMI²LE), and developed the eight-circuit model of consciousness in a book he wrote in 1977.

Meditation at the Spirit of Assisi

I have given you this extensive information above to show in detail the syncretism (the amalgamation or attempted amalgamation) of different religions, cultures, and schools of thought---such as Freemasonry, Anglicanism, Catholicism, Rosicrucianism, Zoroastrianism, Hinduism and Buddhism.

The October 27, 2011 Spirit of Assisi brought together some 300 representatives of other religions around Pope Benedict XVI to reflect to their gods for world peace---even though world peace will not be achieved (1 Thessalonians 5:3-4; Matthew 24:7-8), until this earth passes away and The New Jerusalem comes down from heaven (Revelation 21).

I would have found new respect for the Pope, if he had taken advantage of the opportunity to recite the Apostle Paul's address to the Men of Athens.

Paul's Point in Athens about Worshipping Polytheistic Deities

Acts 17:22-24 (NLT) 22 "So Paul, standing before the council,[a] addressed them as follows: “Men of Athens, I notice that you are very religious in every way, 23 for as I was walking along I saw your many shrines. And one of your altars had this inscription on it:
‘To an Unknown God.’ This God, whom you worship without knowing, is the one I’m telling you about."
24 “He is the God who made the world and everything in it. Since he is Lord of heaven and earth, he doesn’t live in man-made temples,"
Acts 17:22 Traditionally rendered standing in the middle of Mars Hill; Greek reads standing in the middle of the Areopagus.

Are You Looking for a Mind, Body and Spirit Experience?

I urge Christians to stop looking for hidden meanings in the earth, because Satan is the god of this world (1 John 5:19) and the unseen world (called the "True World" by yogis). People are trying to find "human completion" through yoga and Transcendental Meditation (TM), but mankind can only be made alive through reliance upon God---who gives the Gift of Eternal Life---through Jesus His Son.

Ephesians 2:1-5 (NLT)

Made Alive with Christ

"2 Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins. 2 You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God. 3 All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else."
"4 But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)"

Summary and Conclusion

I know, I know, you are probably saying to yourself, "Why does this guy have to ruin our fun by saying yoga contradicts Christian conduct."

I am sorry to inform you that the Apostle Paul suffered with body, mind and spirit stress and torment. He could have easily sought a release through practicing strange rituals to other gods, but he took his problem to the Lord, and this is what Christ told him:

2 Corinthians 12:2-10 (KJV) "2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven."
"3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)"
"4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter."
"5 Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities."
"6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me."
"7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure."
"8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me."
"9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
"10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong."

Is the grace of God sufficient for you? Then perhaps you may want to consider exercising and stretching with other Christians without practicing Yoga.

The Apostle Paul still disciplined his body...

1 Corinthians 9:27 (NLT) "27 I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified."
This message is for Christians who are presently practicing yoga. However if you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, please accept the Gift of Salvation by saying this short prayer:

"Dear Jesus, I repent of my sins and the original sin of mankind, please come into my heart and change me to trust in you and build my personal relationship with you by studying your word and applying it to my life to the best of my ability. Thank you for dying on the cross for the remission of sin.
Thank you for conquering death with your resurrection.
I accept you Jesus as my Lord and Savior, please lead me and guide me. Amen!
If you have said that short prayer, I welcome you to the True Body of Christ (not a sect or religious denomination). Please get into a Bible-based church where the Word of God is taught unadulterated and reject the Tradition(s) of men.

KKEP YOU FAITH AND EYES FOCUSED ON JESUS...Pray, meditate upon God's Word and trust Jesus that He will guide you with His Spirit.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 (New Living Translation)

Paul’s Final Greetings

"23 Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless
until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again"
Godspeed, love and peace,

Brother Johnson, XU
