For the sake of you and your loved ones eternal soul, please keep an open mind as you read and then do your own research.
Let me preface this writing by telling you that the worst thing that you can do is to stop going to church. After all, church is meant to worship God in the fellowship of other believers (see Hebrews 10:24-25). Moreover, children need to be diligently instructed more about God and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, then they do about secular education.
Read Deuteronomy 6:4-9 to better understand how detailed God is about loving Him, teaching your children and following His Word.
This writing will serve you with the saving knowledge to debug the myths---and inspire you to keep your eyes fixed on the simplicity of Jesus and not the manmade dogma and deception of the world.
Please do not be stubborn and resist the Truth because you have grown comfortable and/or complacent at your present church. The only mission God has given me is to warn others about false religions, apostate churches and His plan for humanity.
DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER
I am just a messenger. So please do not shoot the messenger. But do take God's warnings very seriously because time is running out!
The Holy Spirit inspired me to write this blog on America's Independence Day.
Please consider that God is calling you to claim your independence and get back to the simplicity of Jesus Christ's teachings, instead of the Traditions of men.
The Apostle Paul wrote:
2 Corinthians 11:3-4
New Living Translation (NLT)
"3 But I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the serpent. 4 You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed."
I was Roman Catholic for over 40 years and never knew that the rituals, dogma, doctrine and Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church contradicts the Holy Bible.
Please think outside the box, and then do their own research by comparing the Scriptures---the Holy Bible---to the doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church. After all, the papacy and Vatican claim to represent Jesus Christ of the Holy Bible.
If the Roman Catholic Church and papacy say they represent Christ, but do not keep His words, are they true ambassadors and disciples of Jesus Christ?
Christianity and God's house is not Burger King where you can have it your way!
Remain Faithful to Jesus' Teachings and You Will Know the Truth, and the Truth will set you Free!
New Living Translation (NLT)
"31 Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. 32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
I. Comparing Catholic Tradition(s) to the Truth of God's Word
"Hail Mary, full of grace. Our Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen."
"Prayer to Saint Peter"
"Novena to St. Peter"
"O Holy Apostle, because you are the Rock upon which Almighty God has built His Church, obtain for me I pray you: lively faith, firm hope, and burning love, complete detachment from myself, contempt of the world, patience in adversity, humility in prosperity, recollection in prayer, purity of heart, a right intention in all my works, diligence in fulfilling the duties of my state of life, constancy in my resolutions, resignation to the will of God and perseverance in the grace of God even unto death; that so, by means of your intercession and your glorious merits, I may be made worthy to appear before the Chief and Eternal Shepherd of Souls, Jesus Christ, Who with the Father and the Holy Spirit, lives and reigns forever. Amen."
Ok! Ok! Wait a minute...
Jesus Christ ONLY taught us to pray the Our Father
a. Jesus only taught us to address God, the Father when we pray.
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
Instruction about Prayer
"11 It happened that while Jesus was praying in a certain place, after He had finished, one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John also taught his disciples.” 2 And He said to them, “ When you pray, say: ‘Father, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. 3 ‘Give us each day our daily bread. 4 ‘And forgive us our sins, For we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation.’”
"5 Then He said to them, 'Suppose one of you has a friend, and goes to him at midnight and says to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves; 6 for a friend of mine has come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him’; 7 and from inside he answers and says, ‘Do not bother me; the door has already been shut and my children and I are in bed; I cannot get up and give you anything.’ 8 I tell you, even though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will get up and give him as much as he needs.
9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened."
b. If you do not know what to believe, Ask God
Please seek the Truth. If you ask God for guidance, the Holy Spirit will give you understanding and you will find the Truth of God's Word---as well as a personal relationship with Jesus Christ for eternity.
Do not think that doing good deeds will get you into heaven
God's grace and your belief is what counts. Jesus Christ's disciples keep God's Word and follow only God's statutes not the Tradition(s) of men.
English Standard Version (ESV)
I Never Knew You21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
c. Jesus Himself ONLY prayed to His Father
Surely Jesus could have prayed to Abraham, Isaac or Jacob, but Jesus Christ did not. Were not the Old Testament men and women of God worthy to be called saints? The answer is that God's Word makes all believers in Him saints...There is no such thing as men deciding to elevate one person over another to canonized sainthood.
Even the Glory Be, which starts by glorifying God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, ends with a contradiction of the Holy Bible...
"Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen."
d. The "Glory Be" and many Catholic teachings are myths
I do not take pleasure in telling you that many of the things people learned in CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine), Sunday school and mass are myths and Traditions of men, NOT Jesus Christ's teachings and God's precepts.
The word confraternity means, "an association of persons united in a common purpose or profession." But the only thing "Christian" about CCD is that the doctrine professes and pretends to be about Jesus Christ.
This world will end!!!
English Standard Version (ESV)
The New Heaven and the New Earth
21 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place[a] of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people,[b] and God himself will be with them as their God.[c] 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
5 And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” 6 And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. 7 The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

[c] Revelation 21:3 Some manuscripts omit as their God
II. What God Finds Detestable and Abominations
a. God finds statues (carved and graven images) detestable.
English Standard Version (ESV)
4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
b. God finds the occult to be abominations
God finds witches and witchcraft, tarot card and palm readers, fortune tellers, astrologists, holding seances, sorcerers and wizards to be abominations. Yes, that includes: Harry Potter, Bewitched, The Golden Compass, The Wizards of Waverly Place, Ghost Whisperer, New Moon and the Twilight Series, etc., etc., to be detestable! Most of these shows have won countless secular awards. No wonder the world is so wicked and demonically possessed.
What is the name of the school Harry Potter goes to?
c. Don't minimize, rationalize or glamorize your activity
Don't think God does not know that you scoff at the Ten Commandments and His precepts. Allowing yourself or children to watch occult TV shows is detestable to God. After all, Walt Disney was purported to be a Satanist. Whether he was or not is not important. What is important is to keep God's Word.
III. Christians will be taken out of this world
a. There will be a Great Tribulation
When Jesus Christ returns to call His true bride---the universal church---and His body of true believers that have kept His Word, the Tribulation will begin. Please read Matthew 24; 2 Thessalonians 2. You can also read Daniel chapters 9-12, and the book of Revelation. I also recommend buying Tim Lahaye's: Charting the End Times-A Visual Guide to Understanding Bible Prophecy.
b. Many left during the Tribulation will still not repent
Hopefully you do not have to go through the Tribulation, and will repent and turn from your ways that you think are correct, but are detestable to God.
English Standard Version (ESV) 20 The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, 21 nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.
c. Is God unloving because He has rules?
Please do not think God unloving. If you have a manual for life and the book tells you that in order to live you must simply follow the rules, will you, or will you curse the book? If you try to move into a king's castle, and he does not know you, will he let you move in and live there?
d. Christians can comfort each other
Find out what Christians are supposed to do until Jesus returns on the clouds to call us by reading Matthew 28:19-20; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5; Ephesians 4:14; Ephesians 6:10-18; 1 Thessalonians chapters 4 and 5; 1 Timothy 5:17-22, 2 Timothy 2:15, and 2 Timothy 4:1-5.
It is now up to you to do your own homework.
Please read 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-53. If you read these passages, you will understand that people who die believing in Christ do NOT go straight to heaven. When we die, we actually fall asleep until Christ's returns on the clouds for His true followers.
Revelation 17 and 18 uses the image of woman to depict a global false church that leads the world astray and causes the abominations of the earth.
English Standard Version (ESV)
'4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying,
“Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues;"'
Evangelical Christians, and those who will come out of the Roman Catholic Church and Anglican Communion (Church of England and its colony churches---including the Episcopal Church) should witness the plethora of Catholic Saints Prayers by clicking here
Christianity is not a sect, dogma, ritual or religion---it is a personal relationship ONLY with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and following Christ's example and God's written Word---The Holy Bible.
Happy Independence Day!
